Ravenstar snorted, "Let's go then" she walked out and back into the woods she didn't know if he followed her or not. She stalked a mouse straight to it's family who were all near the hole, she made her way to the other side then leapt out at them, killing 4 and letting 2 get away. Ravenstar burried the four mice to collect them later, she started to walk down the pine trail again.

Watching Ravenstar move out the tunnel almost without thinking about the consequences alarmed him a little. She would always be very proud and self sufficient, and in normal circumstances he would to but as of right now things weren't exactly normal. From the the corner of his eye the sour medicine cat marked three off duty cats as expendable. Padding over with a slight haste in his paw steps the annoyed tome demanded "Get up, all three of you." He was attempting to hide some of his concern, but certainly not his impatience. "We are going hunting, Ravenstar already left, and I wouldn't keep her waiting or you might have injuries of your own." He flicked his tail to show them his own battle scar in an intimidating manner.
Slick paw uncurled from his relaxed position under the mid day sun excited at the prospect of getting out of camp. He had been looking for an excuse to stretch his paws after a decent session of battle training with Runningshadow. Besides any chance to walk along side his leader got him curious, she was a very shadowy person, and didn't like to be disturbed. He was far to curious an apprentice to be deterred by that little factor. His slick black fur tipped off at his short tail as if racing to a finish that wasn't present. His hazel eyes peered out past the entrance, "Where is she again?"
"I already told you she went on ahead. Runningshadow i suggest you teach your apprentice to use his ears or his mouse brain might attract a hungry predator or two, knowing he cant hear two tail lengths in front of him." Shadowleap was in no mood to be forgiving when time pressed itself upon important clan affairs.
The medicine cats words stung but the young tom wasn't to ashamed to muster up a cool anger. Contempt.
Copperfang just watched the pair bicker, she had a sharp tongue but unlike most cats it wasn't due to frequent use. "If you want us to go maybe you should just walk away instead of toying with an apprentice." Rising to her feet she moved into the lead opening her mouth to pick up her leaders scent before edging out the camp entrance in pursuit. She'd been in a bad mood all morning, the ticks were getting to her more than usual and the new warmth of spring simply made her pelt itch. Other than that she knew the tom was hiding more than he'd let off, his paws had been clawing at the ground the entire time. She always had been an observant she cat, especially when it came to others, cats of course. She never minced words and could care less before getting in the middle of something and walking away when she lost interest.

Runningshadow chuckled, he breathed in Ravenstar's scent, "Come on use your nose silly, she's this way" He shouted chasing after Copperfang, He easily caught up with them, "Hi" he meowed cheerfully ignoring the deathly glare from Ravenstar. Ravenstar snorted, "About time" She mumbled, "I already caught some mice, go look for some more prey" She hissed at them. Runningshadow smirked, he nodded but still waited for Slickpaw to catch up. Ravenstar padded away to find more prey herself, "Where are you going?" Runningshadow dared to question, "To find more prey you mouse-dung" Was her reply. Runningshadow nodded pushing aside the insult.

Shadowleap was completely dumbfounded and turned to look after the two warriors who had passed him, obvious surprise lighting his face. At least initially, then he quickly became furious and was about to yell after the two haughty ignorant warriors until he realized how much attention that would bring, not to mention the commotion. He closed his eyes and breathed deeply muttering. One cat who had entirely brushed off his comment and another who had interjected and interrupted him. "Imbeciles." Thinking promptly maybe the apprentice had more sense then his mentor, but not informing the oil coated tom in his change of thought.
Slickpaw saw his chance at vengeance and took it immediately, "Well you did tell them to go." The apprentice laughed openly. He suddenly felt a paw on the top of his head and was pushed into the dirt and then scooted forward. "Hey!" He shook his head veraciously then ran after his mentor a bit unsure about what demons he might of unsealed from within the none to friendly medicine cat. Bounding out he caught up with the others after a few moments and gazed at the small pile of prey the leader from what Slickpaw understood had gathered. "Wow you really caught all that?" His voice was inquisitive and hailed disbelief.
Copperfangs yellow teeth glinted under the sun as she grinned slightly. Apprentices were so easily amused, however she frowned suddenly realizing that she no longer took pleasure in a great deal of things accept her own skills as a warrior. In a rather shallow and uncharacteristic manner she became slightly jealous although she quickly put the extra energy to good use. She snagged a couple frogs and a blackbird within a window of about ten minutes. As she padded quickly back she suddenly felt very foolish trying to outshine her leader and slowed down a bit. Adding an extra five minutes she came back to the pile dropping her prizes.
Shadowleap padded at a skipping pace to meet with the other cats being slightly awed at their combined progress. The group already had seven and he hadn't even begun hunting. "Something certainly has set you all alight and I doubt its everyones cheery disposition." He mocked

Runningshadow ran off by himself, he spotted a small shrew cleaning itself, he grinned, he lunge froward about a minute later, ending it's short life quickly. he then noticed a a squirrel, he leapt after it but it took of into the tree and Running shadow hit the wood. He growled as the squrriel seemed to laugh at him, "Get down here you stupid rat, then we'll see just how brave you are!" he countered. He padded back grabbing his plumpy shrew and nicked a few sparrows on the way back, he added it to the pile, and wondered where Ravenstar had padded off to.
Ravenstar padded down the path, keeping her ears and eyes alert in case of an attack, she walked down untill she reached the largest tree in the whole forest. "Smallshard" she murmered as she touched her head to the tree, her eyes closed listening to the sound of the woods, not really doing anything in peticular. She sat down, after a few minutes and turned away, she should probably get more prey, she leapt to her feet, but as she did she suddenly felt really dizzy, she sat down again, 'Don't leave me!' a voice yelled in her head. Ravenstar shook her head, 'DON'T LEAVE ME ALONE' The voice scream, Ravenstar's eyes shook franticly as she remember the voice, it was hers, 'I DON'T WANT TO BE ALONE AGAIN, PLEASE SMALLSHARD DON'T GO!' tears threatened to escape her eyes, she fought back the urge, Ravenstar looked up from the ground blood stained the ground, the trees and the clouds. Ravenstar turned back and slammed her head against the tree, sleep demanded to take over, but she refused, she was tired, but she stood there staring at the blood that seeped through the bark.
