Tangleflare leaped out onto a high rock. The sun warmed her ginger pelt. A slight breeze ruffled her fur, then died down. She yowled happily to the others. Got here first! Her orbs darted around for prey hoping she hadn't scared them. Stupid! Don't yowl!

Lightningscar and Laurelleaf laughed as they exploded from the ferns. Their pelts brushing. Their bright green gazes shone in the sunlight and their golden/ginger pelts lit up the forest.

A bird took flight at the sight of them. Tangleflare's orbs spotted it has it took off. She gave an attempt to catcht it and grabbed only a pawful of feathers. The floated down lightly. The she-cat growled as the bird soared away. She turned to look at the others. Well, that was graceful. She pawed at a feather as she spoke.

Laurelleaf smiled and slid into the undergrowth after a squirrel. Her ginger-golden pelt disappearing. Leaving Lightningscar and Tangleflare alone. She smirked.

A squirrel darted away as Laurelleaf raced after it and then disappeared. Tangleflare gazed around for prey. She glanced at Lightningscar, then around the clearing again. It was awkwardly silent. The she-cat licked her chest then crouched down and leaped into a small pile of leaves. Something snapped under her. She pulled out a small mouse, then buried it back under the leaves.
