Willowstar's long legs carried her gracefully through the forest. Her white paws landing silently on the leaf covered ground. The could wind ruffled her brown-gray tabby fur. She drew in a deep breath, catching the scent of Water Shrew. She creapt along until she reached it, pouncing she killed it. She stood up.

A tom bounded through some bramble. Rusingstone noticed that Willowstar already caught a vole. He purred and mewed, Good catch. Muzzle parted to taste the air. Prey filled his muzzle and he crouched and stalked forward. Claws dug into the soil and his orbs darted back and forth searching for prey. Another vole, slightly smaller then the one Willowstar caught, darted underneath a leaf. The tom stalked forward then....leaped! The vole had no chance to escape. He killed it with a swift blow to the neck. A bird flew away overhead.

Willowstar smiled then turned her head as the bird let out an alarm screech," Well all prey will hide from that." She mewed, her voice growling slightly," We can go fish now." She mewed, flicking her long tail back and forth.

The tom half buried the prey and then glanced around the terrian. She was right, everything seemed quieter. Rushingstone flinched a bit as she said that, but he agreed. Paws carried him over to the river. He gazed at the water. It was calm today and might be easy to catch fish. He faced the bank so his shadow wouldn't cross into the water.

Willowstar settled herself further downstream. Her shadow falling behind her onto a swath of reeds. Her pale green gaze intent on the river. She saw a flash of silver and she struck out her paw. Flinging the fish onto the bank. She smiled and killed it with a sharp bite.

Rushingstone purred with satisfaction. His orbs focused on the water. Fish darted away from Willowstar's paw, so they swam closer to him. A few were smarte enough to head away from him, but a large dull gray fish swam to close. His paw lashed out at the fish. A heartbeat later, the fish was on the bank and he killed it with a swift bit. Prey was running fine.

Willowstar smiled and mewed," Want to go back or stay here for awhile?" She asked wrapping her tail around her paws. Her pale green eyes focused on the tom. She smiled and looked at their catch they had each caught two things, four more things for the pile.

The tom lashed out at another fish. Smaller then the first one though. Rushingstone killed it swiftly, then lied it down by his other fresh-kill. He thought for a moment, then decided. We should head back to the camp. It was a great hunt. He purred happily.

Willowstar nodded and grabbed her Water Vole and Fish. She carried them back to camp. But they didn't touch the ground at all, due to her long legs. She gracefully padded back. Her pale green eyes focused on the ground.

Rushingstone grabbed his two fish and the small vole. If is hadn't of been so small, he never would of been able to carry it. He padded beside Willowstar.
